Really enjoyed Mamma Mia. Very close to Jinji Lake and the "trouser building". I'm traveling on business and this is where my local coworkers took me. For the antipasta we had the meat and cheese and a large mozzarella. They ordered a huge steak, medium rare for the main dish. I was a little worried about the medium rare but it was perfect and awesome! Next time I'm in Suzhou I will stop in.
What a fantastic place!!!! As South Africans, visiting Suzhou for one day & night, with my adult children, we thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas for lunch; so much so, that we booked a table for the same evening for dinner!! We were blown away by the tantalising, tasteful pasta, exquisite wine and amazing ambiance! Meeting the owner was really special; what a warmhearted, kind Italian man, who spoilt us with his own grandmother's Lemonchello!! Grazie mille!!
I've been here many years ago. As an Italian I think this is a very good Italian restaurant with Neapolitan style food. Even though I think the most of the people working there are not Italian, the owners are Italian and they instructed everybody quite well. I really recommend it. It's a bit pricey but I don't think you have many valid options if you want to eat Italian food in Suzhou.
A great crispy pizza all fresh and tasty. The place today was totally empty I think because have Holliday,the view and area outside are nice 👍
Great place, everything seems just right. I visited this place about twice in the last decade. I didn't come here enough times to comment on every single food item there but I think it's one of the good Italian restaurants compared to the other ones I visited in China.
The restaurant changed location, now it is in Ligondi area (few km away). In the previous location there is now a tourism office. The pizza was great and very nice atmosphere and service.
